Sometimes things don't go as planned, and that can mean not having enough funds in our checking account to cover a retail transaction. Whether your card is declined when out to dinner with your family, being stuck at the gas station without being able to fill your tank, or an unanticipated car repair - if that happens it can be embarrassing, not to mention costly, when it comes to merchant fees. To help members avoid this occasional problem, Lewiston Municipal Federal Credit Union offers Courtesy Pay. Courtesy Pay is an additional overdraft privilege limit that provides an added level of protection in the event your savings account does not have enough funds to cover overdrafts on your account.

We understand mistakes happen and while we do not advocate overdrawing your account, helping you keep your account in good standing is important to us. However, for this service to work, you need to enroll in Courtesy Pay to allow us to process these transactions for you.
