Every year our membership votes to elect individuals to the credit union’s Board of Directors. The Nominating Committee will accept petitions for three Director seats in 2021, with one incumbent running for re-election. The election will be held at the (virtual) Annual Meeting on April 7, 2021.
The board usually meets once a month to set the general direction of the credit union and establish policies for the successful operation of the credit union. To be eligible for a board position, members must be in good standing, meaning that loans, if any, must be current and the member cannot have caused any type of loss to the credit union.
Interested members must send a letter of intent & completed signed petition to the Nominating Committee by February 25, 2021 at 4 p.m. EST. Please contact Amanda Piper for the petition paperwork.
The letter must also include a brief biography of yourself along with why you are interested in becoming a member of the Board of Directors. The names of the selected nominees will be announced in prior to the annual meeting. There will be no nominations from the floor.
